Livni Slaps

Livni: If Hamas renews rocket fire, it'll get slapped down again

Foreign Minister and Kadima Chairwoman Tzipi Livni threatened on Monday that if Hamas renews cross-border rocket fire, Israel will launch another offensive against the Palestinian Islamist group in Gaza.

"If Hamas fires a Qassam [rocket] at Israel, it will get slapped down again, as it got it now and they know this," said Livni.

The foreign minister's comments came a day after Hamas and Israel separately declared cease-fires in Gaza, ending the Israel Defense Forces' 22-day campaign against the group in the coastal territory.

"[Hamas] knows today what Israel does when it's harmed, the world knows what it does when it's harmed and even accepts this. Therefore, I think they won't do this again soon," the foreign minister told Israel Radio in her first interview since the end of the warfare.

A victim of Livni Slaps

Gaza children hurt by Israeli military during ofensive that started December 27 ,December 2008.

Anyone who would spank a child leaving him or her bruised as it is the child in the picture should be sent to jail.

Livni approved a military campaign that killed dozens of children.., hurt hundreds..., and terrorized thousands.

She does not only approved such acts.., but does say she is ready to hurt again the children.
Unbelievable.

In any society that respects human rights.., anyone who do to children what Livni did to the children of Gaza should be sent to jail for life.

She not only did approve a military campaign that created such misery..., but actually declared she was ready to approve another military ofensive that innevitably hurt , kill , more children.
Unbelievable.

A correspondent for Italy's Corriere della sera Lorenzo Cremonesi SAY : "Maximum 600 Palestinians died in Gaza "

    ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
The number of Palestinians killed in Operation Cast Lead did not exceed five or six hundred, Lorenzo Cremonesi, a correspondent for Italy's Corriere della sera reported on Thursday.

Cremonesi based his report on tours of hospitals in the Gaza Strip and on interviews with families of ca More..sualties. He also assessed the number of wounded to be far lower than 5,000, the number quoted by Hamas and repeated by the UN and the Red Cross in Gaza.

"It is sufficient to visit several hospitals [in the Gaza Strip] to understand that the numbers don't add up," he wrote.

In the European hospital in Rafah, one of the facilities which would presumably be filled with wounded from the "war of the tunnels," many beds were empty, according to Cremonesi. A similar situation was noted in the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, and in the privately-run Amal Hospital Cremonesi reported that only five out 150 beds were occupied.

Cremonesi interviewed Gazans who echoed Israel's insistence of how Hamas gunmen used civilians as human shields. One Gazan recalled civilians in Gaza shouting at Hamas and Islamic Jihad men, "Go away, go away from here! Do you want the Israelis to kill us all? Do you want our children to die under their bombs? Take your guns and missiles with you."

"Traitors, collaborators with Israel, spies of Fatah, cowards! The soldiers of the holy war will punish you. And in any case you will all die, like us. Fighting the Zionist Jews we are all destined for paradise. Do you not wish to die with us?" the religious fanatics of Hamas reportedly responded.

Other Palestinians told Cremonesi of Hamas operatives donning paramedic uniforms and commandeering ambulances. A woman identified as Um Abdullah, 48, spoke of Hamas using UN buildings as launch pads for rockets.

Cremonesi reported that he had difficultly gathering evidence as the local population was terrified of Hamas.

  2. Poor Palestinians! Their government is their worst enemy.

I've read today that the Islamist militant booby-trapped many of the civilians' homes.
Entire families in Gaza lived on top of a barrel of explosives for months without knowing.
It is also reported that Palestinian civilians, meanwhile, have accused Hamas of forcing them to stay in homes from which gunmen shot at Israeli soldiers during the recent hostilities in Gaza.

I wonder if they reelect the Hamas?

  3. To ima

You should get some real facts, not me.
Even if 600 palestinians died...., do you think that this is acceptable ?
    It is not.
In 2002 Israel launched operation Defensive Shield after 130 Israelis died in a single month , victims of suicide bombers.

That number ( 130 killed in one month ) was considered to be unaceptable by Israel.

And you claim that " only " 600 palis got killed ?

    Give me a break.

If 30 Israelis got killed in a syrian attack that would be a casus belli .

If would be considered a massacre.

But 600 palis killed..,welll.., well.., not that many.

    Give me a break.

Pali blood is as valuable as jewish blood.

The killing of 600 palis is unaceptable, period.

  4. To anonymous : Pali worst ennemy is israel.., not Hamas.
They were Israeli missiles and bombs that killed the people in Gaza.
    Anyone can see that.
